Maintaining healthy, happy environments is an important, and often neglected part of aid work. We work with local community organizers closely. Take a look at past and present projects to see how you can help.
Gifting Program...Want to give a gift in honor of a loved one that will mean the world to someone?
An education can change a life! Masaai girls are frequently forced into marriage by the age of 14. Our goal is to give children an opportunity to go to school by providing things like uniforms and school fees from elementary school through high school.
To do great work, you need tools. Classrooms school supplies and books. Empty stomachs hurt. They break concentration and make the future seem impossible. Providing food and water is essential to creating health.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY NEAR AND FAR! The beginning of 2018 was a very busy one for Seeds of Hope. We were able to send Deo with Father Festus for a checkup to Fame Hospital in Karatu where he was given a cardiology check up. Four years ago we sent Deo to India where he had open heart surgery to replace 3 valves in his heart. We are waiting for the results of the tests but are hopeful that everything is good! Keep your prayers coming for Deo's health.
Two children from the orphanage we support in Hedaru, Obedi and Christina, will begin secondary school in January. We will provide the funding for all their school fees, uniforms and boarding while they are at school. Christina will attend Kilomeni Girls Secondary school. Obedi, who was born HIV positive resides with Anna Mollel who oversees his medical care and general care, so he will be a day scholar and attend Bishop Denning Secondary School. We are also supporting Robert Sanare, a young father who is completing his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. He goes to Arrdhi University in Dar Es Salaam.
Our BIGGEST news is that we will be meeting with World Serve International to plan the groundbreaking for the digging of the well in Engalaoni on January 21st. Our dream of the last 9 years is finally coming true! Please help us see our dream become a reality by attending one of our fundraisers this spring. On Tuesday February 13th at Senix Creek Inn we will celebrate "Fat Tuesday" and dance to the music of "Souled Out". On Thursday night May 10th, at 7pm we will hold our 12th Annual Chinese auction at St. Mark's Church. Thank you for supporting our fundraisers!
Seeds of Hope Tanzania is dedicated to providing financial support to children, families and communities of Tanzania, East Africa, to overcome extreme poverty, with a particular focus on orphaned children there. Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction projects, shelter, food aid, community awareness, medical assistance and educational opportunities. We firmly believe it takes a village to raise a child and we work closely with our friends in Arusha, Tanzania to accomplish our mission!
