To do great work, you need tools. Classrooms school supplies and books. Empty stomachs hurt. They break concentration and make the future seem impossible. Providing food and water is essential to creating health.

Our projects

Maintaining healthy, happy environments is an important, and often neglected part of aid work. We work with local community organizers closely. Take a look at past and present projects to see how you can help.

      FUNDRAISING

Our annual auction on May 7th was postponed due to the health crisis. Masks for Education and HOPE bracelets are the new campaigns to raise funds. Our annual budget of 12K provides more than 60 students with an opportunity to get an education. (See below)

Education

An education can change a life! Masaai girls are frequently forced into marriage by the age of 14. Our goal is to give children an opportunity to go to school by providing things like uniforms and school fees from elementary school through high school.

Our children returned to St. Rose Academy for their new semester on July 15, 2020. Grateful thanks to Dr. Carol Carter and her family for providing "hand washers" for our children to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Handwashers were also given to Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Arusha, St. John the Evangelist in Olkokola and St.Joseph's Church in Engalaoni.

Seeds of Hope Tanzania is dedicated to providing financial support to children, families and communities of Tanzania, East Africa, to overcome extreme poverty, with a particular focus on orphaned children there. Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction projects, shelter, food aid, community awareness, medical assistance and educational opportunities. We firmly believe it takes a village to raise a child and we work closely with our friends in Arusha, Tanzania to accomplish our mission!

An education can change a life and that's what Seeds of Hope Tanzania is doing for our children in Africa. Our goal is to give each child the opportunity to go to school by providing uniforms and school fees. We support more than 50 students who range in age from PreK to University level with an annual budget of 12K.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold our annual in person fundraisers, so we are having an online fundraiser to assure our kids in Tanzania a seat in the classroom and 2 meals, which may be the only food they get that day.  Our neck sleeve masks with the Seeds of Hope Tanzania logo will help support our children and education programs in Tanzania.
Masks come in black, grey and white. Made of comfortable, stretchable, breathable polyester.

           1 Mask: $20

           2 Masks: $35

           3 Masks: $48

If you would like to make a recurring donation of $16 a month you can support a student at St. Rose Academy, a new school we opened in 2017. Read stories about our students and our work in Tanzania.
